The epilogue of the SBS drama "My Love from the Star" on the 4th is being criticized for resembling the movie "Notting Hill".

The minute-long epilogue of the drama showed Cheon Song-I (Jun Ji-hyun) and Do Min-joon (Kim Soo-hyun) happily married in a house with a garden. They sat together on a swing chair with Cheon Song-I laying on his lap.

However, this scene resembled that of the movie "Notting Hill" where Julia Roberts sit on a bench with Hugh Grant at the end of the movie, laying on his lap while he reads a book. It's also alike in the way that it's a love story between a man and a top star. "My Love from the Star" was a hot topic from the very beginning.

The opening of the drama started off with Kim Soo-hyun standing in the middle of the wilderness and the scene changed to the modern times. Buildings soar up around him and he changes from a Hanbok to a suit. 400 years of time was quickly arranged in 15 seconds. This scene was very much like the 2008 American drama "New Amsterdam" which is about a man who is under an Indian curse and lives 400 years, changing jobs every 10 years. The man stands in the middle of nowhere as his surroundings change into modern times. This scene was awarded the Amercian Emmy Awards for Outstanding Main Title Design.

HB Entertainment hasn't come out with a statement about this issue yet.
