The new SBS drama "Midnight Diner" was beat up from its first episode. The unrealistic set up and performance of the cast didn't meet up to the expectations of the public.

Nam Tae-hyun's performance was especially terrible. He plays a character who doesn't know who his father is and manages his life with various part time jobs. He was created to connect with the public.

However, he did a terrible job of pouring out his heart about his loneliness and difficulties.

Nam Tae-hyun said, "I didn't even have the time to feel happy or unhappy" but his speech was slurry and his emotions were way below expectations.

Netizens say, "Giving him any attention at all is a compliment", "He makes us laugh in a sad scene", "I now know how great the original "Midnight Diner" is", "So disappointing" and more.
