Micky Yuchun sweeps the "Seoul Drama Awards"

Singer and actor Micky Yuchun swiped the "Seoul Drama Awards 2011" clean.

Micky Yuchun attended the "Seoul Drama Awards 2011" on the 31^st at Seoul KBS Hall. The "Seoul Drama Awards 2011" is the 6^th festival this year, having started in 2006, selecting various dramas from all over the world and contributing in the public confidence and expansion of Hallyu dramas.

Micky Yuchun was awarded the 'Most Popular' and the 'Best Actor' award for "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" as a result of the online votes that took place on Yahoo for 20 days and was awarded the 'Best Hallyu Drama' awards. He hasn't been very active as a member of JYJ but he's been proving himself well through acting in dramas.

The fans were also unbelievable. JYJ also hasn't been very active in Japan or Korea, but on this day, the majority of the seats were taken up by his domestic fans. The first floor seats were mostly taken up by them and when he was shown on the screen in video or on camera, they screamed hard and supported him. Posters they held up had words like, "Yuchun You're the Best", "Extreme Hallyu Park Yuchun" and more.

A Japanese fan said, "We find the members of JYJ through concerts but now we can see them on dramas. I came to Korea to see Micky Yuchun". Another Japanese fan said, "I came with a group of fans and I am happy to see him". Korean fans also said, "We came to see Micky Yuchun. We are so happy that he was awarded. We hope he gets one as a singer at the end of the year too".

Having spent a happy day, Micky Yuchun expressed his gratitude saying, "This means a lot to me. I think I am very lucky. I have only just started acting and many people support me so much I feel pressure but I feel I should work harder. I thank those who give me a chance and those fans who let that happen".
