MBC to air Hanryu dramas in CIS nations

As part of Hanryu undeveloped region's Korean drama telecast projects, MBC TV drama 'Damo' and 'Marriage ties preordained by Providence' are making inroads into former CIS nations such as Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
MBC said the broadcasting station's two dramas have been selected as target dramas for the Hanryu untapped region's telecast projects by MOFAT (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade) recently.
Accordingly, these two dramas are to be supplied to the spot broadcasting stations through the Embassy of Korea in Russia by being dubbing as Russian.
Prior to this, MBC drama 'Damo' also had been selected as 'The 9th Asia Television Awards' supervised by 'Television Asia' on Dec. 2 last year in Singapore.
