The KBS 2TV drama "Mad Dog" ended with Yoo Ji-tae as Choi Kang-woo and Woo Do-hwan as Kim Min-joon putting Choi Won-yeong as Joo Hyeon-gi and Hong Soo-hyun as Cha Hong-joo to justice. Kang-woo and Min-joon both lost their families in a plane crash, but by solving the secrets behind the accident, they became close like family.

Yoo Ji-tae strongly led "Mad Dog" while Woo Do-hwan added new vitality with his sly and clever character. It was his first free-to-air/ground wave drama and his chemistry with Yoo Ji-tae was solid.

Woo Do-hwan earned attention with his role in the OCN drama, "Save Me". Director Hwang Ee-kyeong recognized his talent and cast him in "Mad Dog". The director spoke of the actor as someone "with talent and more thoughtful than others his age. It's not an advantage just to be thoughtful, but he thinks of his character in various angles and he's mature".

For Woo Do-hwan, "Mad Dog" was another big stepping stone. "Save Me" and "Mad Dog"'s successive successes made him stand out to the public and broadcasting officials. Because of this, he is now a highly sought-after actor.

"Mad Dog" didn't receive much attention at its start and began with low ratings, but the drama ended with a record of 9.7%. Woo Do-hwan had a hand in that increase, writes Ilgan Sports.
