So Cute (Kwiyowo) (2002)
At noon on Feb. 5
Seoul Selection

Everyone has a wish, be it big or small, practical or not. So does each character in this movie. Every character cherishes one small wish, but, in despair, tells the others that it's better to give up and cope with reality. Unlike the title of the movie, "So Cute", nothing cute appears in the film. The story revolves around a lady with an unusual relationship with three boys and their father. Two brothers, though born of different mothers, live in perfect harmony. The elder, nicknamed 963, works in a quick delivery firm. He is lonely but pretends to be very sentimental. The second, Kaeko, thinks little of his father but nevertheless remains a faithful and devoted son. A third son was born of yet another woman. It turns out that their father, Jang Su-ro, had many female friends in the past. One day, Kaeko picks up a young girl named Su-ni on the street to please his father and she gradually becomes a member of the household. Tickets: 3,000 won. Located near Anguk Station, subway line 3.
