[Lily's Take] Netizens Suspect Again That Kang Han-na and Darren Wang Are Dating

Actress Kang Han-na is being questioned by netizens about whether she is dating Taiwanese actor Darren Wang. The question has arisen many times in the past as they were often seen together in public and abroad.

Kang Han-na and Darren Wang first met filming the Chinese drama "Mu Ye Gui Shi" in 2017 and since then, the two had developed a close friendship. The first suspicion on their relationship status started last year spring, when they were sighted at an amusement park together in Osaka, Japan.

On April 11^th this year, they were seen together again at a seafood market place. At the time, Kang Han-na's agency, Fantagio, stated, "They are not in a relationship. They were simply shopping for the dinner with friends. The friends were also present at the market". Afterward, Darren Wang's agency also stated a clarification and denied their relationship.

 

However, on April 19^th, Kang Han-na and Darren Wang were under fire once again just 8 days after their denial. This time, they were seen together at the Vatican Museum in Italy, and the picture of what looks like romantic getaway spread across multiple online communities in a short period of time.

While everyone's eyes are fixated on the two, Kang Han-na directly mentioned Darren Wang's name on her official Instagram account. On June 4^th, Kang Han-na posted a video of herself doing the Ice Bucket Challenge. The Ice Bucket Challenge is a gesture of goodwill involving the dumping of a bucket of ice and water over a person's head, to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, aka Lou Gehrig's disease) and encourage donations to research. The challenge encourages the participant to nominate 3 other people to do the same, and Kang Han-na chose Darren Wang for one of those nominees.

Some people are saying that by Kang Han-na's blunt way of addressing her supposedly rumored boyfriend in public, it shows that she has nothing to hide and they are indeed just close friends, while many still suspect their relationship.
