Last year, Jo Sung-kyu shared on his personal SNS account regarding Kim Joo-hyuk's funeral, saying:

"I do not doubt that there will be many fellow actors and actresses visiting actor Kim Joo-hyuk's funeral service as he was loved by many for his kind, warm-hearted personality.

Although, I really hope that there won't be any of those fake people who had no interest in him before, those who didn't even try to get to know him, but comes out to the service just for a show. Those so-called celebrities who visit the service for this sad soul along with their entire management team by their side and tons of make-up on, with their only interest in getting a picture taken for the public".

On March 12th, Jo Sung-kyu uploaded another remark similar to the above after visiting Jo Min-ki's service, which reads:

"I just came back from Jo Min-ki's service. However, even though he had many connections from his 28 years of career, there were none to be seen. What are you so afraid of? Jo Min-ki's crime is crime, but he was still someone in your life. Where are all those celebrities seeking after the camera whenever there were parties and funerals?"

In this post, Jo Sung-kyu was very expressive in sharing his disappointment towards his fellow showbiz industry associates and some netizens agreed with his sentiments.
