[Lily's Take] "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds" Thanks Fans For 10 Million Views

The movie "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds" became the first movie with 10 million viewers in 2018.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated network, "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds" sold 10,000,198 tickets by January 4th 00:00 KST, hitting the ten-million viewer mark in the sixteen days since the movies theater release. This is the second fastest record to hit ten-million viewers (First being "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" at twelve days.) in Korean film history. Also, considering that last year's only ten-million view movie was "A Taxi Driver" within nineteen days, "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds" outran last year's record by three days.

Upon hearing this news, the director of the movie, Kim Yong-hwa, shared his gratitude saying, "Every day is full of surprises and gratitude. I can't express my heart any other way than saying I'm so grateful. More than anything, I'm just glad to be able to communicate with the audience. We will put our best foot forward to make the second part of the movie great as well. I hope that people can get their heart warmed by this movie in this cold weather".

Leading actor Ha Jung-woo shared, "It makes me speechless to receive so much love from everyone. I'm spending everyday being grateful for everyone. Thank you".

To celebrate their success, the producing team of the movie released the photos of the main cast with their handwritten thank-you messages.
