On April 1st, an associate with Lee Soo-hyuk's agency said, "Lee Soo-hyuk has received an offer form "Lucky Romance" and is discussing the final details".

Lee Soo-hyuk will play Choi Geun-yeok, a star tennis player, who was Bonnie Sim (Hwang Jung-eum)'s first love during childhood and feels still ardent towards her as he gets to meet her again.

"Lucky Romance" is based on the popular webtoon of the same title. The drama depicts what happens between Bonnie Sim and Je Soo-ho: a woman who believes in superstition blindly and a man who indulges in numbers and science.

Hwang Jung-eum and Ryu Jun-yeol have already been confirmed to play Bonnie Sim and Je Soo-ho respectively prior to this news about Lee Soo-hyuk.

"Lucky Romance" will premiere in May once "Goodbye Mr. Black" has finished.
