According to sources, Lee Seo-won, who was in the middle of being tried to sexual harassment and threat, joined the military. Critics say he's done that to avoid the issue.

The actor didn't show up at his 4th trial on the 22nd.

The court announced that he was admitted to National Service on the 20th. He would only be allowed to go to military court once his business is sorted.

His agency claims that he met with the Military Association and learned that under the current law, attendance at the trial is not a reason for postponing the military service.

Netizens are not taking this the good way. Some say he chose to be tried under military court to avoid attention and make this all go away.

Lee Seo-won was charged with sexually assaulting a fellow actress while they were drinking in April and threatening her boyfriend with a weapon. As soon as word got out, he stepped down from all the TV shows he was on.
