Lee Jong-won, Shin Ae to appear in China-Korea joint production drama series

Actor Lee Jong-won and actress Shin Ae will appear on Chinese television through the China-Korea joint production "Miro" ("Maze").

"Miro (Maze)" is a traditional melodrama produced by Korea's Samhwa Networks whose library includes "My Man's Woman" and "Golden Era of Daughter in Law" along with China's largest media company SMG (Shanghai Media Group). The series is a remake of the 1992 "Husband's Woman" starring Go Doo-shim and No Joo-hyun.

Lee Jong-won and Chinese actress Tao Ho Min play a married couple while Shin Ae plays the role of the woman who falls in love with Lee Jong-won. The series is produced and directed by Jang Yong-woo of "Hotelier" and "Wangcho".

Samhwa Networks commented on the 25th, "'Miro (Maze)' which was completed last year will be aired at 7pm through the SMG drama channel in Shanghai. This is the first case of a joint China-Korea production to be aired during prime time. The Chinese press showed great interest at the promotion event held on the 22nd and 23rd, and Lee Jong-won known through his roles in 'Trap of Youth' and 'Terms of Endearment' and others was welcomed by his fans".

The 22 episode series will be aired from the 24th to 30th, 2 episodes per day with the last episode being aired on the 31st. All episodes will be aired within one week.

Samhwa Networks additionally says, "The rather drastic scheduling of 3 episodes per day has gathered much attention amongst Chinese viewers. With the start of Shanghai, the series will be aired throughout all of China by next summer".

"Miro" ("Maze") will also be aired in Korea through a cable or satellite channel within the year.
