Lee Ji-ah to Return to TV Screens

The actress Lee Ji-ah, who disappeared from public view eight months ago after a scandal surrounding her marriage to and divorce from pop legend Seo Taiji, will return to TV screens playing the lead in an upcoming romantic comedy.

The soap features Lee as a policewoman who falls in love with a young millionaire while working undercover in a luxury goods store.

Lee's management agency KeyEast in a press release said she chose the part because she was drawn by the plot, the character, and the writer and producer.

Lee sued Seo for alimony and division of assets but settled out of court in July.
