Lee Hwi-seo Cast for "Imitation"

Actor Lee Hwi-seo has been cast in the new drama "Imitation".

"Lee Hwi-seo takes on the role of Tae-ri in KBS2 drama "Imitation" which will be broadcast in the first half of 2021", the agency Baewoo and Baewoom EnM said on the 27th.

Based on a Kakao page webtoon of the same name, "Imitation" is about cheering for all the stars who dream of being real in the era of the 1 million-member idols.

In the drama, Lee Hwi-seo plays Tae-ri, the chairman of the fan club of top idol Sharks, and co-stars with Lee Jun-young and Jung Ji-so. Tae-ri is the chairman of the fan club who protects Sharks from stalking fans and provide infinite support to the Sharks' center power (Lee Jun-young). She will also add a lively charm to the drama with her strong character between growing idol T-Party center Maha (Jung Ji-so).

Lee Hwi-seo, who made her successful debut through the role of Han Soo-ah, the main character in the web drama "Winter Vacation", was cast in series of "Hospital Playlist" and "The World of the Married" and received favorable reviews for her stable acting. Since then, she has rapidly emerged as a Z-generation icon and has recently been filming advertisements for medical devices, and has received a number of other advertising models.
