"Lady Vengeance" and "3-iron" could be nominations in Golden Globe Awards?

Director Park Chan-wook's "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" and director Kim Ki-duk's "3-iron" attract attention whether they could be the nominees for Best Foreign Language Film at the 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards, which will take place Tuesday, December 13 at the Beverly Hilton.

HFPA, Hollywood Foreign Press Association, hosting the event, announced that 60 foreign language films including two Korean movies have been qualified for the 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards consideration honoring 2005 achievements.

The list judged by HFPA has foreign language films eligible for 63rd annual Golden Globe Awards. Besides two Korean films, "Cache, Hidden" (France) directed by Michael Haneke, "Kung Fu Hustle" (China) directed by Ju Sung-chi, Director Hoan's "The Beauty Remains" and others are included as well.

In particular, The Promise starring Jang Dong-gun and Cecilia Cheung (Director Chen Kaige, China) and "Perhaps Love" starring Ji Jin-heui and Takeshi Kaneshiro (Director Peter Chan Ho-Sun, Hong Kong) are contained as well.

The 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place Monday, January 16, 2006, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel with a live telecast airing on NBC.
