Synopsis
J is a middle-aged man who runs a small computer store in a small city.
One Parents' Day in May, he has a peculiar experience; a man sitting next to him on the bus is wearing not a red, but a yellow carnation on his chest. Along with the question of who that man is, the flower brings back memories J doesn't want to be reminded of all throughout his trip. The flower makes him uncomfortable. It reminds him of the Sewol incident that he saw only on the news. 'What does that man have do to with me'? Back from his vacation, J can't forget about the man and hangs up a yellow ribbon in his store. There were people who threatened to cut off their deals if he didn't get rid of it, but he kept it there. One day, he visits the site of tragedy and mourns with his son. There's no one there, but there are ribbons, pictures and letters for the victims. J stands there with his son and asks himself 'it's been several years and it seems we've forgotten but why does the tragedy remain?' When politics abandons him, what can a weak person like him do?
