Korean Thriller "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" Adds Asian Flair to Venice Film Festival

The Venice Film Festival kicked off with an Asian flavor this year and the second film in the running is Korean thriller "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance".
It's the final episode in director Park Chan-wook's revenge trilogy about a woman with a multiple personality disorder whose attempt to take revenge on a man who puts her in a miserable situation.
Kum-ja the main character played by Lee Young-ae is put behind bars for 13 years on false charges of kidnapping and murdering a boy.
During her jail time she prepares her deadly revenge against the real murderer.
The lineup has been slimmed down to fifty-six films this year with 19 movies competing for the top prize the Golden Lion.
