New girl group Iz One, made up of nine Koreans and three Japanese, have hit the top of Japan's leading music charts with their debut Korean album, which was released just last week.

"COLOR*IZ" ranked No. 1 on Oricon's digital and weekly album charts for the week ending Nov. 4. It is a particularly impressive feat because they have yet to make their Japanese debut.

The girls have also topped Korean music-streaming sites since the album's release on Oct. 29 and swept Apple's iTunes K-pop album charts in some 10 countries including Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam.

Their video for the song "La Vie en Rose" has already surpassed 15 million views on YouTube.
