Korean Film Festival in Los Angeles launched

The first Korean Film Festival in Los Angeles will be held from November 15-17 under the theme "It's Alive: Korean Film Genre Hybrids and Hollywood Remakes".

Hosted by KOFIC's Los Angeles office in partnership with the Korean Cinematheque, the festival will take place at the Fairfax 3 Theaters.

More than 15 films are scheduled to be presented, including opening night film "Driving With My Wife's Lover" by Kim Tae-sik, about a man who discovers that his wife is having an affair with a taxi driver. Closing the event will be "The Show Must Go on" by Han Jae-rim, centered on the family life of a gangster played by Song Kang-ho. Both KIM and HAN are scheduled to be in attendance at the festival.
