Korean American actor crowned one of the People Magazine's 'Sexiest Men Alive'

It's now more than White Castle mini burgers for Korean-American actor John Cho, as he has been named one of People Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006.

Cho made his Hollywood debut in the 1999 comedy film "American Pie", but his fame came when he starred as Harold Lee in 2004's "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle", also a comedy film revolving around two characters adventuring through a wild night in search for the fast food chain White Castle.

The Korean-born actor was raised in Los Angeles, California from the age of six, and got his undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.

The 34-year-old is married to actress Kerri Higuchi and will star in NBC's sitcom "The Singles' Table" next year.

On being an Asian American actor, Cho is quoted by movie site IMDB as saying, "It's difficult having to hustle for jobs. Not knowing when the next job is coming in. There are not enough roles out there. I try not to get wrapped up in it or I'll get depressed".

He is the only Asian among 15 other sizzling male stars, including George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp, chosen as this year's Sexiest Man Alive.

The special selection is People Magazine's annual feature published for the past 20 years, setting the touchstone for male beauty.
