Korean Actress Cast in Hollywood Action Flick

Korean actress Kang Jung-hwa (a.k.a Judy Kang) has been cast in a new Hollywood action film, "The Legend of the Dancing Ninja". The action comedy movie is directed by Mitchell Klebanoff and stars David Hasselhoff and newcomer Lucas Grabeel. Kang will play a character named Kimi, who helps the main character learn martial arts.

Kang has gone to study in Australia by herself in 9th grade and graduated from college there. Her experiences in Australia and English proficiency have helped her land the role of Kimi. She has not been a high-profile star in Korea, having played only minor roles in a few movies. This is why this opportunity to work in "The Legend of the Dancing Ninja" has come as a big surprise for her. But she is determined to work hard and make names for herself in the bigger stage.

Co-produced by a Korean film company, the movie is shot in Jeju Island and Los Angeles. Kang has finished shooting her portion in Jeju Island and is getting ready to fly out to Los Angeles later this month.
