KimJongHak Production to make inroads into Juvenile drama market

KimJongHak Production is going to produce a super special SFX drama "Irexion" as the first juvenile market advance.

Chungam Entertainment, which was separated from KimJongHak Production in Feb 2005 and quoted by the pen name of Producer Kim Jong-hak, is going to produce the drama with the director Park Chan-yeol making KBS' "Adults don't know" and director Yoo Min-han. Both directors have secretly prepared the ideas and scenario for two years.

"Irexion" will be 26 episodes in total and a compound of real picture and 3D animation. All castings are done and the photographing will begin from next March and the airing will be conducted in Korea and Japan from best November after CG works.

The production cost will be 10 billion won and the staffs will be very specialized. Japanese team makes all costume of the drama and the best Korean art team and design team that are well known in the world provide miniatures & sets.

According to Chungam Entertainment, the drama is a work with a good storyline and high technology computer graphic. They are going to do various promotions and merchandizing business such as robot toy, stationery and comic publishing next year.

"Irexion" is a story about seven characters symbolized by seven earth basic elements of sun, moon, fire, water, tree, metal and soil. The seven heroes are collecting seven crystals spatiotemporal transcendlingly to protect the peace of the earth and cosmos.
