We had an interview with Kim Sun-a, prior to the release of her movie "Fighting Spirit". She had finished SBS drama "Scent of a Woman", taken a short break overseas and started "Fighting Spirit" again.

Continuously, she was a terminally ill patient in both movies but she was very different. There have been reviews that she doesn't act the same terminally ill patient in both projects. The fact that she was criticized about her pronunciation when she first started acting is almost ridiculous.

When she was asked about her most respectable actor or actress she didn't choose anyone in particular but she said, "I respect anyone I work with. I respect all the actors and actresses in this country. I wonder how much better they will become in quality if only their surrounding's improve".

The drama ended well thanks to Kim Hye-ok, Lee Jung-gil, Namkoong Won and Jeong Dong-wan who helped me throughout the drama. If they had raised their voices at me, it wouldn't have been easy. I cried talking to them on the phone after it was over. They adored me even in the tough times".

She said that she wants to pass on what she's learnt from the seniors, to the juniors. "I felt I should teach those around me better things, while watching the seniors".

She also said, "I am learning the basis of acting because I don't have any. I think anyone can do better when they feel good about it. That kind of attitude is important". She re-emphasized that she was grateful to the seniors and then said, "I respect all those acting in Korea".
