Kim Soy was cast as Choi Yoon-jeong, a person suffering from schizophrenia, in Disney+'s original series "May It Please the Court" (scriptwriter Kim Dan, director Kang Min-goo, Walt Disney Company Korea, and production Arc Media and Slingshot Studio), and will appear in the fifth episode, which will be released on the 5th.

"May It Please the Court" is a legal mystery drama that traces the hidden truth in the case that No Chak-hee (Jung Ryeo-won), a self-indulgent lawyer who bites anything for success, and Jwa Si-baek (Lee Kyu-hyung), a unique lawyer who is not afraid of anything when he is hooked, work together.

In order to play the character, Kim Soy has been carefully preparing for it by studying various materials on schizophrenia. In particular, she was cast immediately at her first audition with director Kang Min-goo, raising expectations, and not only expressed the symptoms of schizophrenic patients but also expressed the pain caused by theory, which raises the tension of the drama. Expectations are high as she will show 180 degrees of unconventional acting.

Meanwhile, Kim Soy has consistently met the audience through cinematic films such as "The Avian Kind", "The Seeds of Violence", and "Like a French Film" and has recently been recognized for her colorful acting skills through the play "Rental Apartment". In addition, she stood out by directly planning directing and producing various short films such as "My Eggs" and "Rebound - Short Film".

Kim Soy is set to release the movie "The Conversation", which she starred with Jo Eun-ji and Park Jong-hwan this year, and in October, she will hold an "Director Kim Soy Exhibition" at Emu Cinema to communicate with the audience.

Disney+'s original series "May It Please the Court" starring Kim Soy, will be released every Wednesday at 4 PM.
