Kim Nam-gil to Return in 2 Years With "Island - Drama"

Actor Kim Nam-gil is coming back with the leading role of 'Ban' in a drama called "Island - Drama".

"Island - Drama" is a fantasy drama about a hidden truth in the beautiful island of Jeju. The immersive storytelling is based on the original webtoon of the same name by Yoon In-wan and Yang Kyung-il who have a solid global fandom.

Kim Nam-gil takes on the role of 'Ban', who has been protecting the world from the Blue Demon. Half human and half goblin, his three-dimensional character will show off his heavy charisma. As much as Kim Nam-gil has been loved by the public through numerous dramas such as "The Fiery Priest", "Bad Man", "Live Up to Your Name", and films "Pandora", "The Shameless" and "Pirates", expectations are high for his potential.

Meanwhile, Kim Nam-gil founded the general entertainment company Gil Story ENT and is looking forward to the release of the films "A Man of Reason" and "Emergency Declaration". He's currently in the middle of filming "Nocturnal".

"Island - Drama" draws anticipation as it's being helmed by director Bae Jong.
