The carmaker also began accepting pre-orders on the same day, ahead of its release slated for mid-December.

The new model has undergone a total revamp to improve its overall look along with better driving performance. Its height has been reduced by 20 mm, and its length and width extended by 50 mm and 25 mm, making it more sleek and dynamic, apparently aiming to woo young customers. Its signature "tiger's nose" front grille has been modified to create a bolder and sportier look.

The sedan also comes with the latest safety and convenience features including a voice-recognition function to turn on or off an air purifier and carry out other controls.

Four versions are available with prices for the gasoline model ranging from W23.51 to W30.92 million and the hybrid model costing from W27.49 to W33.65 million (US$1=W1,177).
