The group is approaching the one million sales mark for their second Japanese album, "Super Girl". A special Tour Edition of the album will be re-released on April 11th to celebrate their upcoming tour in the country. This re-release is sure to spur growth, nearly ensuring that they will be able to achieve the feat of selling over one million copies!

According to DSP Media, the current sales figure stands at about 800,000 copies. This is enough to have won the girls a "Triple Platinum" nod (an award for artists that sell 750,000 copies or more). That has established Kara as the first Korean artist to win such a status with just one album released in Japan.

A supply problem with the album late last year had slowed down sales for a bit, but with Kara's upcoming tour, that figure is expected to spike again.

KARASIA, the girls' Japanese tour will start on April 14th in Yokohama, taking them also to Nagoya, Fukuoka, Osaka, Tokyo, and more. The concert is expected to draw in about 100,000 fans.
