Ever since the dawn of the new year, fans of Korean entertainment have been showered with announcements of new dramas, movies, webtoons, and more. We're only one month into 2022 and the current roster of upcoming content already looks incredible. Upon a closer look, you might have noticed that some names pop up more frequently than others. Here are the top 10 Korean actors (arranged in no particular order) who are booked and busy in 2022!


1. Hwang In-youp

Having risen to fame with "True Beauty", Hwang In-youp stole hearts with his talent and charisma, making the world fall in love with him. In 2022, Hwang In-youp blessedly has two K-Dramas ("The Sound of Magic" and "Why Her?") and his first-ever movie "Swimming Bird" (Short) coming up. We hope to see him in even more works in the future.

2. Nam Da-reum

 Nam Da-reum is someone who we have seen grow right in front of our eyes from a child artist to an excellent leading actor and 2022 will certainly be his year. The actor has 3 K-Dramas coming up: "The Great Shaman Ga Doo-shim - Season 2", "Monstrous" and "The Sound of Magic" as well as a movie titled "Birth"!

3. Seohyun

Seohyun is flourishing in the world of cinema in 2022 because she has two highly anticipated films coming out soon: "Love and Leashes" and "Holy Night: Demon Hunters". In addition, she will also be taking on the leading role of Lee  Seul-bi in the romantic fantasy drama "Jinxed at First".

4. Park Seo-joon

Park Seo-joon is going big in 2022, filming for his first-ever Marvel movie in Hollywood as well as for the K-drama "Gyeongseong Creature", set to premiere in 2023.
