The long-running idol group Shinhwa (Eric Mun, Lee Min-woo, Kim Dong-wan, Shin Hye-sung, Jun Jin, and Andy), who debuted thirteen years ago, will establish an agency named the "Shinhwa Company" and they will begin holding activities in earnest from next year. The Shinhwa Company said on August 1, "We have recently established our own company with every member's funding, and the members are the representatives and shareholders of the company at the same time. From next year when Lee Min-woo, Andy, and Jun Jin will complete their military duties, we will begin holding activities as Shinhwa". The Shinhwa Company was established for members to hold independent and systematic activities. The leader of the group, Eric Mun, and Lee Min-woo, who will be discharged from the military next year in February, will be the representatives of the company, and other members will also participate in operating the company as shareholders.

Shinhwa will celebrate its 14th anniversary next year on March 24, and they will release their tenth album on or around March 24, and they will hold large-scale promotional activities. In addition, they will also hold an Asia concert tour in five to six Asian countries beginning in Seoul and continuing to China and Japan.

The Shinhwa Company said, "Open World Entertainment, which holds the copyright to Shinhwa, will have the license of Shinhwa's overseas concert, and it will also implement works regarding overseas licensing of Shinhwa's albums together with the Shinhwa Company. Individual activities of each member will be managed by their own agencies".
