Hirokazu Koreeda, Japan's world-renowned maestro, will direct his first Korean movie "Broker". Actor Song Kang-ho, Gang Dong-won, and Bae Doona decided to join the cast, setting up a splendid lineup. According to CJ Entertainment and the film company on the 26th, Hirokazu Koreeda has decided to direct "Broker". Hirokazu Koreeda, who has portrayed the stories of various characters with sharp insights and warm eyes based on the theme consciousness that touches the reality of each of his work, has been invited to the competition section of the Cannes Film Festival five times, won the Jury Prize for "Like Father, Like Son" and the Palme d'Or Award, the highest honor for "Shoplifters". His world of works is expanding further to the latest film, "The Truth", directed in French and English. Director Hirokazu Koreeda has produced the original screenplay, "Broker" after a long period of planning with the Korean production team since about five years ago.

"Broker" is a film about people who have become involved around 'the Baby Box' which is designed to allow people who cannot raise children to leave their babies anonymously.

In particular, many top actors such as Song Kang-ho, Gang Dong-won, and Bae Doona have been cast, drawing attention. Song Kang-ho and Gang Dong-won, who worked together in "Secret Reunion" will reunite and Bae Doona, who collaborated with Hirokazu Koreeda as "Air Doll" will meet with the director again. Expectations are high for the meeting between three actors representing the Korean film industry and world-renowned director Hirokazu Koreeda.

The production of "Broker" is being conducted by the house of a film company that directed "#ALIVE", "Crazy Romance", "Default", "Master" and "The Priests" and CJ ENM will conduct an investment distribution. The scenario is currently in progress and is scheduled to be cranked in 2021.
