On May 11th, MOVIE&NEW posted the new teaser trailer for the upcoming "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" on YouTube. The teaser trailer, which can also be viewed on HanCinema, has now earned over a million views as of this writing. Exact details on the plot remain vague, but the trailer has surprised many by suggesting that Lee Jong-suk has a more important role than had previously been implied. He is reprising his part as a now-deceased character from the previous film.

"The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" is the sequel to "The Witch : Part 1. The Subversion" from 2018. The story deals with telekinetically powered witches, who are both male and female, all adolescent, who were created through a research project. New actress Shin Si-a will take on the leading role in the new movie, having won the part through a competitive audition much as Kim Da-mi did in the first one. "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" will be released in South Korean theaters on June 15th.
