According to figures released by the Korean Film Council, the action film "The Roundup" has officially passed the two million viewer mark at the South Korean box office. The benchmark was achieved at approximately 12:30 PM on Saturday May 21st, Korean time. This was the fourth day that "The Roundup" was available in South Korean theaters, and the benchmark was passed relatively early in the weekend, so "The Roundup" may yet three million admissions this weekend.

"The Roundup" is already set to outperform every other South Korean film in the post-COVID era".The Roundup" has been buoyed by positive statements across social media, and high ratings from movie websites, it currently rating 9.54 on Naver Movies among netizens. "The Roundup" stars Ma Dong-seok as a cop chasing Son Sukku who was a criminal in Vietnam and beyond. It is the sequel to "The Outlaws" from 2017 and filming for "The Roundup: No Way Out" is set to start filming next month.
