[HanCinema's News] Song Sae-byeok Talks About "Special Delivery"

In a recent interview Song Sae-byeok made some choice comments about the lead actress, Park So-dam, in her first action role. Song Sae-byeok described her as overflowing with energy. Song Sae-byeok also claimed that her energy was so powerful that it doubled the power of his reaction shots, just because he was able to play well off of her. Song Sae-byeok himself played Kyeong-pil, a police officer who gets involved with the delivery driving antics of Park So-dam's lead character.

Song Sae-byeok also described Park So-dam as graceful due to the unfortunate situation of her thyroid papillary cancer diagnosis. Right after the press conference, Song Sae-byeok claims she sent him a text apologizing for her absence. Song Sae-byeok said that in response, he told her not to talk like that, and that she needs to take good care of her own health. Song Sae-byeok was also concerned about her condition, and said that he visited Park So-dam several times.

Song Sae-byeok also had positive comments to make about Kim Eui-sung, with whom "Special Delivery" was his first collaboration. Though Song Sae-byeok worried about the difficulty of the scenes, Kim Eui-sung assured him that it was fine to do more. Song Sae-byeok credited Kim Eui-sung with the ease of the completion of filming. "Special Delivery" premiered in South Korean theaters on January 12th and has amassed over 400,000 box office admissions since then.
