Lee Do-hyun is fairly new to dramas. His first credit was as the young version of a prison guard in "Prison Playbook". He went on to have supporting roles in "Thirty But Seventeen" and "Clean with Passion for Now", but "Hotel Del Luna" is his first visible role in a major hit.

Lee Do-hyun was lucky to get it, too, as Choi Tae-joon was originally cast for the role. Officially Choi Tae-joon left over creative differences, but there were suspicions at the time that the departure was related to the ongoing investigation into the 'Burning Sun' nightclub. Choi Tae-joon ended up starting his mandatory military service on August 1st.

As for Lee Do-hyun, he recently stated on the close of "Hotel Del Luna" that the experience was very meaningful, worthwhile, and gratifying for him. Lee Do-hyun said that he learned a lot, and that while it could be difficult, he made many happy and joyful memories there that still feel sharp and exciting even now.

Lee Do-hyun went on to thank the director, writer, all the staff, and said it was an honor to work with the actors as well. Lee Do-hyun wanted to express a thankful greeting to all of them. He said they worked hard and hoped to meet them at another shooting location in the future. He also expressed a strong thanks to fans of the show promising to show them a better more developed version of himself in the future.
