According to a recent news report, new actor Kim Taek will appear in the upcoming film "Rebound" that deals with a real-life Busan basketball team. Due to the unofficial nature of the report, all that is known about the role is that he will be one of the players on the team. Very little is known about "Rebound" in general- though Kim Mu-yeol has been listed as the headliner, it's not clear what role he will play. The coach of the team appears to be the most likely possibility.

The production companies B.A. Entertainment and Walkhouse Company are making "Rebound" and have confirmed that filming for the sports movie will begin next month. This will be the first directorial project for Jang Hang-jun since "Forgotten" in 2017. As for Kim Taek, this will be his first film role ever, and second screen role after "The King's Affection" where he played the brother of the second lead played by Nam Yoon-su, both of them distant relatives of the royal family.
