Park Chan-wook has a strong reputation in Belgium, and the theatrical poster for "Decision to Leave" there notes that "Oldboy" and "The Handmaiden" are previous well-received films from the director. The theatrical release of "Decision to Leave" is only the beginning of Korean film appreciation in season. The Belgium International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF) will begin there on August 29th, and be followed by a Korean Film Festival, and the Ghent Film Festival which will also feature Korean films.
