"ANIME NEWS: 'King of Prism' breaks Japanese anime record in South Korea"

How popular is Japanese anime in Korea? This year saw a new record for a Japanese anime film when Masakazu Hishida's "King of Prism" spent more than 14 weeks in the charts. "We could never have dreamed that the movie would have such a long run in South Korea, could we?" said the film's director. The previous record was held by "Love Live!", which, in 2015, enjoyed a 14-week run.
