Let's meet the romantic pairs of nominees:

"Descendants of the Sun" (Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo) This couple is unusual in that they fall in love right away and they must surmount obstacles to stay together. They battle natural and man-made disaster together, learning and growing, fighting and loving as they serve their country and the world.

"Shopping King Louis" (Seo In-guk and Nam Ji-hyun) One of the sweetest couples on television, puppy-like Louis and practical Bok-shil, are best friends and earnest lovers. They never lie to themselves about their feelings and just let their relationship grow naturally.

"Reply 1988" (Park Bo-gum and Lee Hyeri) A mystery until the end, this couple slowly grew to love each other through childhood and came together after growing up, living life, and realizing that love was always right in front of them.

"The K2" (Ji Chang-wook and Yoona) In a world where each of them was alone, Je-ha and An-na find each other. Together they fight the evils that hover closely around them, sticking together and defining what it truly means to be a team.

"W" (Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo) This is a love that spans worlds and belief in reality. It is founded on belief in each other; there ain't nothing more romantic than that.

"Love in the Moonlight" (Park Bo-gum and Kim You-jung) A fake eunuch and a king fall in love, and the love transcends gender, social status, and extreme adversity. This is a relationship born of fire and made of iron.

"Cinderella and the Four Knights" (Jung Il-woo and Park So-dam) Two young people who have been abandoned by their families find love and hope in each other. Their relationship traverses from bickering to love in the most adorable of ways.

"Mirror of the Witch" (Yoon Si-yoon and Kim Sae-ron) An unusual friendship is struck between a witch and an illegitimate son that grows into a supportive love. It is strong enough to battle black magic, dangerous swordsman, and the promise of death.

"Another Miss Oh" (Eric Mun and Seo Hyun-jin) A love that is forbidden blossoms in blissful ignorance. This couple's attraction and chemistry is so strong that it can overcome any adversity, including another version of Oh Hae-young.

"Lucky Romance" (Ryu Jun-yeol and Hwang Jung-eum) This is one of the most adorkable couples in dramaland who take aegyo, flirting, and denial to the next level. Nothing can withstand the romantic battle between her superstition and his reason.
