Goo Ha-ra Denies Involvement With Seungri Controversy

Singer Goo Ha-ra denied any involvement with Seungri's latest controversy.

She made a post on Instagram on the 12th when a netizen commented, "You're from the same academy as the great Seungri. Are you involved? Did you go somewhere else?"

Goo Ha-ra replied, "I have nothing to do with it".

She and Seungri are from the same town of Gwangju and they went to the same academy before they debuted. The netizen was questioning their relationship that goes way back.

The comment has been removed, but captures of it have spread quickly on social media and websites.

Meanwhile, Seungri will be investigated for the first time as a suspect on the morning of the 14th, after being charged with violating the law on the punishment of sex trafficking and bribery.

On the 18th, the first trial will be held for Goo Ha-ra's ex-boyfriend Choi Jong-beom on charges of injury done to her.

Goo Ha-ra and Choi Jong-beom caused a stir last September with a violent fight. Choi Jong-beom reported Goo Ha-ra of having assaulted him and the case later investigated assault done by both parties. Later, Goo Ha-ra revealed truth that she was threatened with a sex video and there was controversy over revenge pornography.
