Girls' Generation Poised for Big Time in Japan

The manufactured band Girls' Generation will release their Japanese debut single "Genie" through Nayutawave Records, a Universal Music label, on Sept. 8.
They will also release their first DVD "New Beginning of Girls' Generation" with their hit songs on Aug. 11. Preorders started on July 23 and sold out immediately.
The local press are keen on the Japanese debut of Korea's top girl band, who plan a big showcase in front of 10,000 fans at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo on Aug. 25.
