Park Sung-woong, who has shown a heavy male image in many noir films, is planning to play an intelligent yet terribly vicious character in the film.

"Gentleman" is emerging as one of the most anticipated films as Ji Hyeon-soo, who is caught up in a huge incident while trying to clear his name. The fresh combination of Ju Ji-hoon, who boasts an unrivaled presence, and Park Sung-woong, who has a heavy masculine personality, and the confrontation between the characters in the drama are expected to have a tight battle between the two actors.

Meanwhile, Han So-hee who was cast earlier, is quitting due to health reasons.

"Gentleman" productions said, Han So-hee, who was expected to take on the role of a passionate elite prosecutor, will not be in the movie due to health reasons.

Han So-hee has been adjusting her schedule with the production of "Gentleman" despite her busy days with dramas and commercials but she received medical advice that she needs a break. Hence, she won't be starring in the movie.

The production said that this will not cause a problem with the movie schedule.
