First Teaser Out for Jang Dong-yoon and Jung Soo-jung's DMZ-Themed Thriller "Search"

OCN Dramatic Cinema released teasers of "Search" starring Jang Dong-yoon and Jung Soo-jung.

"Search" is a military thriller that deals with the DMZ for the first time in Korea. A mysterious disappearance and murder happens at the DMZ and an elite search party struggles to reveal the truth.

"Search" is OCN's fourth Dramatic Cinema piece of work following "Trap - Drama", "Strangers from Hell" and "Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation", with the two already aired having received favorable reviews for being well-made genre pieces through a special collaboration between drama and film. "Search" is directed by Im Dae-woong from "House of the Disappeared" and "Horror Stories" and it's written by Goo Mo and Go Myeong-joo who are responsible for several films and screenplays.

Actor Jang Dong-yoon tackles the role of Yong Dong-jin, a sergeant about to be discharged and a military dog soldier. While waiting for his date of discharge, he joins the elite search party with military dog Mac, unexpectedly. Jung Soo-jung takes on the role of Son Ye-rim, a lieutenant with the perfect specs. She is a multi-soldier with brains and strength and is deployed as commissioned officer to get to the bottom of the case.

Jang Dong-yoon and Jung Soo-jung's performance is highly anticipated as they have starred in various modern and sageuk dramas.

Other than Jang Dong-yoon and Jung Soo-jung are Moon Jeong-hee in the role of Kim Da-jeong, a DMZ Memorial Interpreter, Yoon Park as Song Min-gyoo, an elite officer who volunteers for the elite search party, and Lee Hyun-wook-I in the role of Lee Joon-seong, the assistant manager of the search party.

"Search" is the first drama to try a fresh genre set at the front-line of the DMZ. In particular, the stories of people gathering with hidden secrets and their own purposes hidden in the DMZ are expected to provide tense fun.
