Opening the festival will be Australian documentary film "Food Fighter", directed by Dan Goldberg, which tells the story of a woman's crusade against food waste.

Brazilian filmmaker Fernando Grostein Andrade's comedy "Abe", which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival in January, will also be screened along with other food-themed films.

The festival will provide a feast to satisfy viewers' eyes and stomachs by letting them sample foods featured in the films they watch.
