[HanCinema's News] Younha Confirmed to Appear at Kim Ji-won's First Fan Meeting

On June 22nd and June 23rd, actress Kim Ji-won is holding her first ever fan meeting at the Shinhan Card SOLpay Square Live Hall in Seoul. However, she will be having a special last minute guest- the singer Younha will be attending the fan meeting. Apparently, Kim Ji-won and Younha know each other on a personal level, having been represented by the same talent agency even before their debuts. In a past interview, Younha claimed to see Kim Ji-won once or twice a week.

The courtesy also has professional precedent. In the early part of her career, Kim Ji-won appeared in the music video of Gossip Boy, one of the singer's early hits. The song Waiting also has a special meaning for Kim Ji-won. It appears in the fourth episode of "Queen of Tears" as background music. When asked to quote a fee for the song's use, Younha claims to have given the drama's production company the right to use it free of charge, since they wanted it for Kim Ji-won's drama.
Apparently, Kim Ji-won did not even know of this favor at that time. This fan meeting is only the start of a world tour for Kim Ji-won, who next appears in Osaka in Japan on July 7th. Then, she will visit fans in Tokyo, Taipei, Manilla, Macao, Bangkok, and Jakarta. Kim Ji-won has yet to decide on her next acting project.
