The Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee (Chairman Park Min) and T&K Factory announced that they will vote for the Seoul Drama Awards 2024 Asia Star Award (Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore) and the Drama OST Award through the voting app Idol Champ for a month from June 15th to July 14th.

The Asia Star Awards are for drama actors who have been loved in six Asian countries, including Korea, over the past year. Representing K-drama are Kim Soo-hyun "Queen of Tears", Byeon Woo-seok "Lovely Runner", Cha Eun-woo "Wonderful World", Song Kang "My Demon", Suho "Missing Crown Prince", Lee Junho "King the Land", Chae Jong-hyeop "Castaway Diva", Kim Ji-won "Queen of Tears", Park Bo-young "Daily Dose of Sunshine", Kim Hye-yoon "Lovely Runner", Lim Yoona "King the Land" and Go Youn-jung "Moving".

As both male and female actors in this year's hugely popular dramas "Queen of Tears" and "Lovely Runner" were nominated, the confrontation between the 'Back Home' couple and the 'Sol-sun' couple is also noteworthy.

Prominent actors have also been nominated in other countries. In Thailand, the nominees include Bluepongtiwat Tangwancharoen, who is gaining popularity for Netflix's "Ready Set Love", and Poomipat Iamsamang who appeared in the remake of the Korean drama "Start Up".

In addition, popular actor Kim Chiu from the Philippines, Emily Chan, one of Malaysia's leading actors, Desmon Tan, who won many popular awards in Singapore, and Ochi Rosdiana from Indonesia are among the candidates. In particular, this year's Asian Star Awards is expected to be significant in terms of cultural exchanges in Asia, as many emerging countries are included.

In the case of OST, voting will be held centering on K-drama title songs and singers. Crush (the "Queen of Tears" OST), SEVENTEEN's Seung-kwan (the "Tell Me That You Love Me" OST), NewJeans (the "My Demon" OST), (G)I-DLE's Mi-yeon (the "My Dearest" OST) and BTOB's Seo Eun-kwang (the "Chief Detective 1958" OST) will be nominated and are waiting for voting by Hallyu fans.
