"Hanging on!" Kwon Hyun-bin to Star in Family Sitcom

Kwon Hyun-bin is starring in a family sitcom.

"Hanging on!" is based on the popular long-lived webtoon of the same name, which has surpassed 2 billion views in 10 years, and is a family sitcom featuring the friendly and pleasant daily life of a family walking a tightrope at the edge of sanity.

Kwon Hyun-bin takes on the role of Ki-yeong Sang-do, the leader of an idol group and the target of Jeong Joo-ri's (Lee Soo-min) obsession.

Through this work, Kwon Hyun-bin will not only show off his presence as a popular idol with his refreshing visuals, but also challenge his deft comic acting and give off a fresh charm.

Previously, Kwon Hyun-bin has shown potential as an actor in the role of a kindergarten teacher in the MBC drama "Borg Mom". He recently starred in webdramas "The World of My 17" and "Cafe Kilimanjaro".

He also starred in the Mnet "Produce 101 Season 2" and joined the group JBJ where he showed off excellent rap skills.

Meanwhile, "Hanging on!" is co-produced by Lululala, a studio under JTBC and KT SEEZN. It's formation is being discussed on JTBC.
