The new KBS 2TV drama is coming on the 24th. This 13 billion won drama has been 100% pre-produced and aims for the Chinese Hallyu market. The drama is being reviewed in China at the moment and will soon be decided to be put on air.

KBS edited the contents of the drama for review in China. Ham Yeong-hoon from KBS told E-Daily Star-in, "We edited the parts relating to North Korea as the Chinese are sensitive about it. We edited only those parts where it says 'North Korea' or 'North Korean soldiers' so it should be completely fine".

The edited version is minor and there has been adjustments made to the first scene where the South Korean and North Korean soldiers engage in gun fight. The contract says other than that, the drama should be exactly the same as the Korean version.

The Korean "Descendants of the Sun" is going ahead without any editing.

"Descendants of the Sun" is the story of a dispatch soldier and a medical volunteer's romance. The drama is written by Kim Eun-sook and stars Song Joong-ki, Song Hye-kyo, Jin Goo, Kim Ji-won and more.
