The first episode is being broadcast this Friday (18th).

It is the first natural disaster drama in Korea and shows the struggles of a medical team trying to save lives.

"D-Day" is based on the fact that an earthquake happens in the middle of Seoul. CG was used and reality was upped another level by building a two-story building in Icheon. Here's the reason why it's called the 15 billion won blockbuster; the part where the earthquake happens wasn't made by the actors shaking their bodies but the whole set and walls were made to shake.

It's something you don't see every day in Korea so anticipation for the drama increases. Teasers of the drama shows the Namsan Tower falling down and the Han River disconnecting.

All this is not familiar to the viewers. Will it succeed in bringing about success or the other way around?
