"Computer Game Modelled on Actor Lee Byung-hun" Introduced in Tokyo

"Lost Planet", a computer game modelled on actor Lee Byung-hun, who became the first South Korean actor to model for a world-renowned computer game company, has been introduced in Tokyo, Japan.

Microsoft hosted a presentation to introduce its latest computer game software at the "Xbox360 Lounge" in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on Dec. 10. Although the presentation did not target the general public, about 300 of Lee's fans rushed to the event, attesting to his high popularity in Japan.

During the event, Lee looked delighted, commenting, "It is a global achievement for me to debut as a model for a Japanese computer game. I'm very pleased because I myself love to play online games". He also expressed satisfaction with the game itself, terming it "a game based on an excellent script, just like a movie".

With an imaginary ice world in the near future as the backdrop, "Lost Planet" features a battle between a young man (Lee) and aliens. It will first be released to market in the United States and Europe, and then in Japan in early 2007.
