"Coffee Prince" to be Staged as Theater Play

A theater play based on the popular 2007 TV drama "Coffee Prince", starring Yoon Eun-hye and Kong Yoo, will be staged Nov. 16.
Gael Entertainment, the producer of the play, said that although the play will be based on the same-titled novel which served as a basis for the TV drama, it will be more vivid and will feature unique lighting and sound effects, as only a theater play can present.
The plot centers on four characters -- Choi Han-kyul, Ko Eun-chan, Choi Han-sung and Han Yoo-joo -- who mature by healing their wounds through love. The play will also include a special "marriage proposal" event for couples in the audience. Those who apply for the event will be presented with an opportunity to propose onstage after the performance.
